2 individuals flogged for adultery in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two people have been flogged after being convicted of adultery by the primary court in Kabul, the Supreme Court said on Friday.

In a post on X, the Supreme Court wrote: “Two individuals who were accused of adultery were lashed 35 times each for adultery charges and sentenced to one year of imprisonment.”

According to the source, the convicts were punished after approval by the supreme court.
