Salang highway reopens for all types of traffic

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The Salang highway, connecting Kabul with northern provinces, was reopened for traffic on Sunday, the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) said.

Mohammad Ashraf Haqshanas, spokesperson for MoPW, wrote on his X handle that the key highway reopened for all types of traffic early in the morning.

MoPW asked drivers to carry wither equipment such as chains, warm clothes, food and fuel while using the highway.
