KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has condemned the Israeli airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
The caretaker government called the attack a blatant violation of diplomatic norms and a provocative attempt at fueling insecurity in the region.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on X: “The IEA strongly condemns the attack of the Zionist regime on the consular branch of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.”
The interim government called on influential countries of the world to prevent crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and beyond.
He added the continuation of the crimes had morphed into a grave threat to the security of the region and the world at large. On the other hand, such aggression has raised questions about the effectiveness of international laws.
