JUI-F leader gunned down in North Waziristan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead a Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

Noor Islam Nizami was gunned down on Tuesday in North Waziristan district, the Express Tribute reported on Wednesday.

District Police Officer (DPO) confirmed Nizami lost his life on the spot as a result of the gunfire. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

Intensive monitoring is being conducted in the district to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the heinous act, the newspaper said.
