KABUL (Pajhwok): The municipality has completed construction of streets in the 16th security district of Kabul at a cost of 17 million afghanis.
The Kabul Municipality wrote on its X handle the construction of streets solved problems local residents faced earlier and added similar projects will be implemented in future.
Funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to provide facilities and jobs to area residents, the streets’ construction was completed in five months at a cost of 17 million afghanis.
Meanwhile, the Kabul Municipality on Saturday announced completing another two projects including sub-ways and streets at a cost of 15 million afghanis in Qala-i-Ahmad Khan area.
