FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): At least four people, including two girls, have been killed in flash floods in western Farah province, an official said on Sunday.
Disaster Management Director Maulvi Mohammad Isreal told Pajhwok Afghan News the victims were aged between three and four years.
The fatalities occurred in Khaki Safid and Pushtrod districts on Saturday night. The floods also caused financial losses to the people.
He added the wheat crop was also destroyed in the flooding. Recent floods have caused casualties in other provinces as well.
