KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-level Saudi delegation led by Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Abdullah is set to arrive in Islamabad today (Monday) for talks on economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad said in a statement the two-day visit was essentially aimed to expedite follow-up action on the understanding reached between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman during their recent meeting in Makkah to enhance bilateral economic cooperation.
It said the delegation was expected to hold meetings with the president, the prime minister, foreign minister and others.
This visit is aimed at lending positive impetus to enhanced bilateral cooperation and a mutually rewarding economic partnership.
