6 killed, 30 wounded in Pakistan bus-tanker collision

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least six people have been killed and 30 others wounded in a traffic accident in Pakistan’s Sindh province, media reports said on Wednesday.

The accident took place on the Indus highway near Jamshoro city when a passenger bus collided with an oil tanker, Samaa TV reported.

It said the passengers were travelling to Karachi from Larkana.

The dead bodies were taken to the nearby hospital. Meanwhile, injured persons were evacuated to Jamshoro Hospital in Hyderabad.

The tragedy occurred a week after six people were killed and 30 others injured when a truck skidded off the road and overturned in southwest Pakistan.
