Woman among 3 detained on murder charges in Herat

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested three individuals on murder charges in western Herat province.

In a statement, the police headquarters said crime branch personnel had detained three people, including a woman, accused of murder.

It said the detainees had killed a resident of the province a few days ago and fled the area but police arrested them based on a tip-off.

The detainees had confessed to their crime, according to the statement, which gave no further details.
