Baghlan accident leaves 1 dead, 4 injured

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): One individual was killed and four others, including a woman, were injured in a traffic accident in northern Baghlan province on Thursday.

Police spokesman Maulvi Sher Ahmad Burhani told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened when a bus and a carcollided in the Larkhab area of Doshi district this morning.

He said the injured were evacuated to the Doshi health centre before being taken to the main provincial hospital.

Last week, four people had lost their lives when a vehicle plunged into a river in the same province.
