PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The residents of Mohammad Agha district shave reconstructed a school building at their own expenses.
Education Department spokesman Shahpour Arab told Pajhwok Afghan News the Katabkhel high school building took three months to be reconstructed by local people.
He said the reconstruction enabled about 1,000 students to learn lessons in a safe environment.
He called on rich people of the province to play their part part in education development.
He did not provide details about the cost on the school building, but added 20 individuals contributed to the effort.
Mansour Ahmad, a student of the school, told Pajhwok their school had been damaged by flash floods and past conflicts.
