KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) says about 837 Afghan refugees have returned to the country after being expelled from Pakistan during the past two days.
In a post on X, the MoRR wrote that 837 people, comprising 157 families, returned to the country via Spin Boldak of Kandahar and Torkham in the last two days.
According to the ministry, each of the returning families was provided with 10,000 afghanis cash assistance from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The MoRR introduced all the returnees to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and UNHCR for assistance.
