KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) has referred 15 children with congenital heart defects (CHDs) for treatment to two Kabul hospitals.
ARCS wrote on its X handle it would pay the cost of the children’s treatment. Over the past 21 months, about 3,013 children suffering from heart diseases have been referred to different hospitals for medical treatment.
The humanitarian organisation previously sent children with CHDs to Germany for treatment.
