KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Volleyball Federation (ANVF) says the national volleyball team will participate in the Central Asian Volleyball Championship in Pakistan.
ANVF said the national team will face Pakistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan in the tournament.
ANVF secretary Mohammad Nasir Noori told Pajhwok Pakistan will host the event from May 11 to May 17 in Islamabad.
According to him, six teams will feature in the championship..
The national team has been practicing in Kabul.
Afghanistan finished third in the Asia Volleyball Championship last year.
