Wall collapse incident kills woman in Laghman

MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): A woman was killed in a wall-collapse incident in  Mehtarlam, the capital of eastern Laghman province, on Tuesday morning.

Disaster Management Authority head Qari Khair Mohammad Ghazi told Pajhwok Afghan News, the incident took place in Bisram area at 7:00am.

The family of the victim was given a package of food by the Disaster Management Authority.

Due to continuous rains, roof and cave-in incidents have occurred in many provinces of the country, causing a number of casualties.
