Largest chemical fertilizer producing plant opens in Herat

KABUL (Pajhwok): A chemical fertilizer producing plant, the largest on the national level, has been inaugurated in western Herat province.

The $540,000 plant was inaugurated by deputy governor Muhajir Farahi in the presence of a number of industrialists at the industrial park in Herat City, wrote Nisar Ahmad Ilyas, the provincial government spokesperson, on his X handle.

However, he shared no further details about the chemical fertilizer factory.
