MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): A woman died in hospital of wounds she sustained in a gas cylinder explosion in eastern Laghman province, an official said on Sunday.
Natural Disaster Director Qari Khair Mohammad Ghazi told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in Muhibullah’s house in Tinkor area of Alingar district and a woman died of burn injuries.
Meanwhile, Wafiullah, the woman’s brother-in-law said: “My brother's wife was working in kitchen when the cylinder exploded yesterday”.
He said the woman was taken to hospital in critical condition where she died.
