KABUL (Pajhwok): An Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) delegation has attended the 15th summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Banjul, the capital of Gambia.
The summit, which is being attended by leaders, foreign ministers and diplomats from member countries, started on Saturday and would continue today in Gambia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said in a statement.
It added MoFA spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi was also participating in the summit on behalf of IEA.
The ministry said caretaker government’s delegation would meet and discuss with OIC officials bilateral and multilateral issues. They will also meet representatives from member countries on the sidelines of the gathering.
