JALALABAD/GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Four people have been killed and as many injured separate traffic accidents and violent incident eastern Nangarhar and southern Ghazni provinces, officials said on Tuesday.

Nangarhar Police spokesman Abdul Basir Zabuli told Pajhwok Afghan News a man was killed by his brother in the Qala-i-Akhund area of Kama district on Monday evening.

He said police founded the dead body in the room with a gun, but the killer fled from the area.

A resident said that the incident occurred due to family problems, but official could not identify the cause of the murder.

Separately, one person was killed and another one injured after an Indian rickshaw overturned due to recklessness of driving in the Akhundzada square of Behsood district today (Tuesday).

In a statement, Ghazni police chief said a 13-year-old boy drowned and died in Khairokhel village of Nava district, Ghazni province.

Source added security forces pulled out the dead body from water and handover to his family.

Separately, in another statement, the source explained four people were killed and injured as a result two separate traffic accidents in third police district of Ghazni city.

The collision between Tractor and Saracha-type vehicle left three wounded including a woman in Qala-i-Joz area of third district today (Tuesday).

Meanwhile, the fielder-type vehicle collided with a truck on Kabul-Kandahar highway of Gilan district in which the driver was killed.
