KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has urged the Agha Khan Foundation (AKF) to expand its activities for the welfare of the Afghan people.
Muttaqi issued the call at a meeting with AKF Chief Executive Officer Najmuddin Najm and the delegation accompanying him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Najm briefed Muttaqi on activities of the foundation in health, cultural and construction sectors of the country and hailed MoFA cooperation.
He noted significant progress had been made in the health sector with the assistance of AKF.
Muttaqi also praised the services, cooperation and activities of AKF and called on it to expand activities to other areas for the welfare of Afghans, especially for the treatment of cancer.
