Heavy rain predicted in 22 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): Relevant government authorities have predicted rainfall, flash floods and lighting in the coming two days in 22 provinces of the country.

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) has predicted heavy rainfall, flash floods and lighting in Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Balkh, Jawzjan, Sar-i-Pul, Faryab, Samangan, Baghlan, Panjsher, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Nangarhar, Parwan, Kapisa, Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Paktia, Khost, and Bamyan provinces including Salangs.

Source said the amount of rain is said to be from 15mm to 45mm in these provinces.

Wind speed is predicted 30 and 70 kilometers per hour in northern, central, western, southwestern, and southern provinces including Salangs.
