PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two children drowned in river and died in central Logar province separately, police said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Ahmadullah Anas told Pajhwok Afghan News police found the body of a child in Kajaki area of Pul-i-Alam district one week after he drowned in Hesarak district.
Separately, a 10-year-old child drowned in river and was presumed dead in Kulangar area of Pul-i-Alam city on Saturday.
Anas said police were trying to fish out the child’s body. He asked people to avoid bathing in the river due heavy rains and flash floods.
Earlier, a 25-year-old man drowned in a check dam and lost his life in Sajawand district of Baraki Barak area on Thursday.
