5 of a family injured in Kunar lightning

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Five members of a family have been injured as a result of lightning strike in Ghazyabad district of eastern Kunar province.

Police spokesman Faridullah Dehqan told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident happened in Abra Gul area of the district on Friday.

Five members of a family, including three children, were injured due to lightning, he said, adding that the injured were evacuated to provincial hospital for medical treatment.
