GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least two people were killed and three others wounded as a result of a traffic accident in Ghazni city, the capital of southern Ghazni province, on Monday, an official said.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the limits of the provincial capital when a fielder-type vehicle collided with a truck.
He said two people lost their lives and three others were injured in the collision.
The injured have been evacuated to hospital by security forces and they are said to be in critical condition.
Sarhadi blamed the accident on reckless driving.
