Heavy rain, flash floods predicted in 16 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) has predicted more rainfall and flow of floods in 16 provinces tomorrow (Sunday).

The MoTCA wrote on its X account, that there was a possibility of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and the flow of flashfloods in Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan, Panjsher, Nuristan, Kunar, Kapisa, Parwan, Bamyan, Faryab, Jawzjan, Samangan, Ghor, Herat and Farah provinces including areas related to northern and southern Salang pass.

The possibility of the amount of rain was predicted between 15 to 30 millimeters.

MoTCA has also said in the northern, northwestern, western, central, southwestern, southern provinces of the country and areas related to northern and southern Salang pass, relatively strong winds with dust will occur, the speed of which is expected to be between 30 and 90 kilometers per hour.
