KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Maulvi Abdul Kabir says the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) is committed to providing equal services in all parts of the country without any discrimination.
He also said all citizens could freely share their demands with caretaker government officials.
He made the remarks at separate meetings with tribal elders from southeastern Paktia and Paktika provinces, his office said in a statement.
It said tribal elders from Paktika shared their problems and demands with the deputy premier.
The elders urged the government to address their problems in areas of education, health and construction of roads.
They also floated proposals for the resumption of work on incomplete projects and delivery of health services in remote areas of the province.
Separately, tribal elders from the Zazi Aryub district of Paktia province also shared their problems with the deputy premier.
They asked for implementation of development projects in the district.
While commenting on the Islamic system, Kabir said every citizen could share their demands with the authorities without reluctance.
He said the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) was responsible for serving the nation.
He added the caretaker government was committed to providing equal services in all regions without any discrimination.
He added all-oit efforts were underway to promote education in remote parts of the country.
