KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) has inaugurated a new healthcare centre at a cost of $183,000 for returnees and internally-displaced people in Kabul.
In a post on X, MoRR wrote the health centre had been built with the cooperation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
At the inauguration ceremony, Maulv Abdul Rahman Rashid, deputy minister of refugees and repatriation, hailed UNHCR’s cooperation. He hoped such construction would lead to the development of the country.
Rashid explained the government could not achieve its long-term goals without support and cooperation from donors in implementing major projects.
He also urged national institutions and businessmen to contribute to the development of the country.
The healthcare centre, costing $183,000, was completed in one year.
