IEA gives go-ahead to budget for current fiscal year

KABUL (Pajhwok): The national budget for the current (1403) fiscal year has been approved by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) supreme leader, says the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

MoF wrote on its X page people’s needs and priorities were taken into consideration in preparation of the budget, which would be financed through domestic resources.

As usual, the budget has been placed in the financial system of the government carefully and all aspects -- general and development spending -- were transparently approached.

The ministry has not yet shared details of the exact volume for the current year’s budget.
