LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): The municipality plans to implement 14 development projects at a cost of 86 million afghanis in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, this solar year.
Mohammad Tahir, an official of the municipality, told Pajhwok Afghan News they plan to execute 14 developments projects this year.
He said the schemes would consume 86 million afghanis and would be implemented in eight police districts of the provincial capital.
He added: “The schemes include construction of roads, toilets for women and men, parks, installation of lights in the city, reconstruction of water supply networks and parks.”
Meanwhile, residents of Lashkargah city expressed pleasure with the announcement.
