20 drug producing labs destroyed in Ghor

FEIROZKOH (Pajhwok): Security forces have destroyed twenty drug-producing factories in different parts of western Ghor province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News: “At least twenty drug-producing factories were discovered and destroyed during operations by counter-narcotics police.”

He did not say how many people have been arrested in connection with the factories.

Separately, he said security forces cleared 12.5 acres of land from poppy crop in the province.
