Noor Jalal Jalali appointed as public health minister

KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Minister of Interior Noor Jalal Jalali has been elevated to the position of public health minister in compliance with order from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) supreme leader.

Zabihullah Mujahid, chief spokesman for IEA, wrote on his X handle the new appointment came in compliance with IEA supreme leader Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada’s directives.

He said Jalali was replaced by Mullah Rahmatullah Najib, deputy head of general directorate of  intelligence.

Former governor of northern Samangan province Mullah Abdul Ahad has been appointed as new governor of northern Faryab province and ex-governor of Faryab Mullah Mohammad Shoaib as the governor of Samangan province.

Administrative chief of Gershak district in Helmand province Mohammad Sadiq has been appointed as deputy governor of Kandahar and deputy governor of Kandahar has been posted to his position.
