Jobs for skilled, semi-skilled Afghans in Qatar discussed

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Mullah Abdul Manan Omari and his Qatari counterpart Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri have discussed various issues, including ties between Doha and Kabul.

At a meeting in Doha, the two sides also conferred on the dispatch of skilled and semi-skilled Afghan workers to Qatar, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) wrote on its X handle.

It said bilateral ties between Kabul and Doha, finding legal solutions to problems of Afghan workers in that country and other topics came up for discussion.

A delegation led by Omari had travelled to Doha in response to an invitation from the Qatari government on Monday.
