Over 11,600 Afghans return from Pakistan, Iran last week

KABUL (Pajhwok): About 11,623 Afghan refugees returned voluntarily or have been deported from Pakistan and Iran during the past one week, the Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation (MoRR) says.

Pajhwok Afghan News took these figures from MoRR’s X handle.

It said 4,742 people or 938 families returned to the country via Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings after being evicted by Pakistan.

During this period, 6,831 people returned from Iran through Islam Qala port in western Herat province.
