1 killed as Kuchi families clash over water in Wardak

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): One person has been killed and another wounded as a result of a clash between two families of nomads in Syedabad district of central Maidan Wardak province, police said on Saturday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said the clash took place on Friday afternoon shortly after 3pm over water.

The statement added one person lost his life and another was seriously injured in the incident.

Security forces rushed to the scene and prevented further casualties, the statement concluded.
