PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A teenage boy lost his life as a result of a mortar shell blast in central Logar province, police said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Ahmadullah Anas told Pajhwok Afghan News 15-year-old Mohammad Sahil fell victim to the blast in Kart-e-Mamorin area of Pul-i-Alam city, this afternoon.
“The boy was transferring the mortar from one place to another when it exploded,” Anas added.
Similar incidents have taken lives in various provinces earlier.
