KABUL (Pajhwok): The acting minister of commerce and industry has discussed small and medium businesses, job creation and the growth of industrial parks with a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) official.
Minister Nooruddin Azizi met UNDP resident representative for Afghanistan Stephen Rodrigues here, said a statement from MoCI.
The two sides, in addition to strengthening coordination, discussed support for small and medium enterprises, all-round cooperation on the growth of industrial parks, establishment of factories and generating electricity required in less developed provinces.
Creating employment through production programmes, training entrepreneurs, finding markets for their products and small loans also came up for discussion between the two sides.
