Qatari investors urged to expand ties with Afghan private sector

KABUL (Pajhwok): Labor and Social Affairs Minister Mullah Abdul Manan Omari has encouraged Qatari businesspeople to invest in Afghanistan’s private sector.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MoLSA) wrote on its X handle that Omari met Mohammad Bin Ahmed Bin Tawar Al-Kuwari, 1st Vice Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) in Doha on Sunday

They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in commercial and economic fields.

Omari encouraged Qatari businessmen to invest in Afghanistan in the fields of agriculture, industry, production and infrastructure.

According to him, the ground has been paved for investment in Afghanistan and a good opportunity exists to develop relations with countries.

Omari asked Qatari officials to expand business and commercial relations with Afghanistan’s private sector.

Mullah Abdul Manan Omari left for Qatar on May 29 against an official invitation.
