KABUL (Pajhwok): Minister of Defence Maulvi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid says the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) is willing to expand ties with Indonesia across various sectors.
Mujahid met a visiting Indonesian delegation, which included former vice-president Mohammad Yusuf Kala, the current Council of Red Crescent chief, said a statement from the Ministry of Defence.
The acting minister welcomed the visiting delegation and emphasised on IEA’s desire for expansion of relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and Indonesia in different fields.
The visiting team shared its view regarding security and reconstruction in Afghanistan. They said what they had heard about Afghanistan was mere propaganda.
They also underlined Indonesia’s readiness to cooperate with Afghanistan and invest in various sectors of the country.
