KABUL (Pajhwok): A seven-member national badminton team on Monday left for the Russian city of Kazan to participate in the BRICS Games scheduled to begin tomorrow, the National Olympic Committee said.
NOC General Directorate of Sports wrote on X the seven-member badminton team will participate in the BRICS Games.
Kazan will host the international multi-sport event from June 11 to June 24 and about 5000 athletes from member countries and invited states will participate in the games.
Yesterday, Afghanistan's body-builders won third place by winning three gold, five silver and three bronze medals in the South Asian Championship hosted by the Maldives.
