KABUL (Pajhwok): The construction of parking facility in the Islam Qala customs office in Western Herat province has been started at the cost of 231.8 million afs, a statement said on Monday.
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on its x.com wrote the parking facility would be constructed on 18.5 acres of land in a standardized manner, it would be equipped with all the necessary facilities such as a green area, fire control equipment and an electronic system.
Funds for the project would be provided from the development budget of the MoF and its construction would be conducted by the National Development Corporation.
The source said that this facility would facilitate businessmen and customs personnel, it would also accelerate the custom process of goods and ensure order and discipline.
