Missing for 8 years, Kandahari boy found in Balkh

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A boy who went missing for eight years back has been found in Balkh province and reunited with his family in the Arghistan district of Kandahar.

In a statement, the Balkh police headquarters said Hikmatullah, the son of Niamatullah, a resident of Arghistan district, had gone missing eight years ago.

It said the 18-year-old boy was found in the Chamtal district of Balkh following efforts by security forces and reunited with his family.

Police chief Abdul Raziq Rashid met Hikmatullah and his uncle at his office and expressed happiness over the boy’s reunion with his family.
