KABUL (Pajhwok): The caretaker government has asked the international community to assist Afghanistan’s education sector in constructing school buildings, printing textbooks and financing teacher’ salaries.
He issued the call at the second forum of education ministers -- Shaping the Future -- in Kazan, the Ministry of Education (MoE) wrote on its X handle.
He highlighted the current state of education in Afghanistan, the current government’s achievements, opportunities and challenges.
Agha shared with participants of the four-day forum figures regarding schools, teachers and students in Afghanistan.
He urged the international community to assist Afghanistan’s education sector in construction of school buildings, printing textbooks and providing teachers’ salaries.
The gathering, chaired by Russian’s minister of education, began on June 9 and will conclude today (Wednesday).
