KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): At least 180 individuals have graduated from various vocational training courses in northern Kunduz province, says the Department of Labour and Social Affairs.
Director of Labour and Social Affairs Maulvi Ahmad Shah Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News these vocational skills included mobile phone repairing, tailoring, electronic items repairing, rickshaw making, plumbing and carpentry.
“Under the leadership of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, we facilitated vocational training for 180 unemployed youths in six sectors. These individuals will find employment opportunities easily,” he added.
Mohammad Emran, who completed the vocational training, said: “I’m pleased to have completed this training, we can open our own shop and earn halal income.”
