KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has decided to take part in the upcoming Doha meeting but the level of representation was yet to be ascertained, an official said on Friday.
Zakir Jalali, a senior official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), said that the agenda of the gathering showed that this UN meeting would focus on financial and banking sector, counter-narcotics and alternative financial ways for poppy cultivation.
He said the IEA also decided to participate in the meeting but it was not ascertained that the level of representation would be at which level.
Jalali stressed Afghanistan desired cordial relationships with neighbor and with the world.
