KABUL (Pajhwok): The post-hajj operation is set to kick off today (Saturday) with the return of 346 pilgrims to Kabul, says the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs (MoHRA).
The process for transporting pilgrims to Saudi Arabia started on May 9. About 30,000 people were flown via 94 flights to the holy land to perform Hajj.
About 346 pilgrims from Paktia and Paktika provinces would return from Saudi Arabia to Kabul oday, MoHRA wrote on its X handle.
Earlier, Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs Maulvi Noor Mohammad Saqib and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah had discussed more facilities for Afghan pilgrims.
