25 acres of usurped land wrested back in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Land Grab Prevention and Restitution Commission (LGPRC) has recovered 25 acres from 162.5 acres of usurped land in front of the Nasaji factory in Bagrami district in Kabul province, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said on Sunday.

MoF wrote on its X handle the land in Bagrami district was rested back in compliance with orders from the special court and efforts were underway to free the rest of land.

“In addition to land grabbing, some opportunists carried out other illegal activities in the area, which had worried the residents”.

According to the ministry, public welfare projects will be implemented on this land and employment opportunities will also be provided to a number of citizens.
