7 members of a family killed in Paktia mountain rockslide

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Seven members of a family were killed after a rockslide hit their home in southeastern Paktia province, an official said on Monday.

In a statement, the Natural Disasters Management Department said the incident happened in Jag Orgor area of Samkani district and the dead included two women and five children, all from the same family.

The incident comes two months after five members of a family were killed in a landslide incident in Wazi Zadean disitrict.
