KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan imported goods worth more than $950 million and exported goods worth over $114 million during the first month of this solar year, the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) said on Wednesday.
In a statement, NSIA said it collected and analyzed the data of imports and exports taking place last month.
“The data shows the volume of Afghanistan’s imports reaches $950 million and exports $114,6 million in the past month”.
The country’s imports reached $650 million in March and April and $95.6 million last month. The value of exports increased by $19 million compared to the previous month.
The bulk of the exports were made to Pakistan, India and the United Arab Emirates, and most imports from Iran, China and Pakistan in the past month,.
