Woman publicly whipped in Herat for adultery

KABUL (Pajhwok): A woman has been publicly punished after being convicted of adultery in western Herat province.

The Supreme Courte wrote on its X handle the woman received 39 lashes by the primary court of Owbi district.

The punishment was carried out by the primary court after approval from the Supreme Court.
