KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 16 individuals have been detained, 32 drug addicts reunited with their families after rehabilitation and 84 more rounded up for treatment in four different provinces.
In a post on X, the Ministry of Interior wrote in the past 24 hours, 16 suspects had been arrested in connection with robbery, moral corruption and other crimes in Kunduz, Parwan, Nimroz and Nuristan.
“Seven of them have been detained for moral corruption in Kunduz, four in connection with robberies in Parwan, four on other criminal charges in Nimroz and one for murder in Nuristan,” the ministry added.
According to a separate statement, a large quantity of firewood was prevented from being smuggled in Nangarhar.
The ministry said 32 drug addicts, after receiving medical treatment, were reunited with their families and 84 more rounded up for rehabilitation.
